BMTX is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Executive – Western Region to assist in the sales of new business and retainment of current businessThis role is directly responsible to increase new SSE, manage contract renewals and increase the overall company revenue for an assigned territory The Western Region Account Executive will be responsible to generate leads or directly sell strategic partnership products and services.


This position will be part of the Client Operations Division and will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales. This position will be responsible for territory management of both current clients and sales of new university business. This position will be remote with some travel expected. The position is expected to be 70% new sales and 30% client management.

Strong presentation skills in a virtual sales environment.

Identifying and prospecting to sales opportunities.

Required Experience/ Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience with direct account management and sales.
  • Up to 30% minimum travel is expected.
  • Responsible for customer satisfaction and contract renewals.
  • Proven sales experience and success.
  • Demonstrate advanced sales skills, ability to identify strong leads that generate new sales activity.
  • Ability to manage a sales territory.
  • Able to create and execute a territory sales plan of action in coordination with assigned sales goals.
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience in remote virtual presentations.
  • Experience with Sales Force, Client Point, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to read and understand service contracts
  • Proven experience with sales email and call campaigns and the ability to create campaign ideas and follow up strategy.
  • Can think critically, creatively and develop retention and renewal strategy for all assigned accounts.
  • Demonstrate ability to work through and with others to achieve goals.
  • Must be resourceful and a creative problem solver.
  • Ability to complete assigned projects.
  • Ability to work independently and with direction from manager.
  • Experience and knowledge of the Higher Education University and College environment is desired.
