We are looking for a Data Scientist to analyze large amounts of raw information to find patterns that will help improve our company. We will rely on you to build data products to extract valuable business insights.

In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, math and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research.

Your goal will be to help our company analyze trends to make better decisions

• Use data to provide insights and recommendations to business decision-makers
• Building models to address business problems
• Prepare and develop reports, presentations, and other documents for communicating findings to business owners and management.
• Partner with technical teams to implement data capture, ETL, validation, and test methods
• Recommend and apply methodologies and statistical techniques where appropriate to address business issues
• Complete ad hoc analytical requests within agreed upon time

• Demonstrated proficiency using SQL and Python
• Demonstrated data visualization skills using tools like Power BI
• Experience in data mining, modeling and understanding of machine-learning (DataRobot experience a plus)
• Demonstrated ability to extract meaning and interpret data relating to business performance and goals
• Ability to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines and adapting to rapidly changing priorities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to work both in a team-oriented environment and independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Proven time management and prioritization skills
• Data analysis and technical writing aptitude
• Experience in financial services a plus
• Exposure to Azure cloud data tools
