Overview

Director Project Management; Enterprise Change Project Management is primarily responsible for leading a team focused on project and change management activities in support of various BMTX projects and programs. The individual coordinates various areas within the bank to drive all aspects of change management plan that is leveraged for key regional and global change initiatives, working under the direction of a Chief Operating Officer Manager, and within an overall Strategic Technology Initiatives & Change Management Committee (STICMC) governance structure.  This is a hands-on role focused on effectively driving projects forward and enforcing a high quality change control process for BMTX.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Senior leaders across the organization to plan and coordinate efforts for new or modified strategic initiatives and effective change management.
  • Direct PMO team to create, implement and manage actionable deliverables for change management levers: communications plan, change network to support project implementation, sponsor roadmap, stakeholder management, engagement, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan, reinforcement/sustainment plan.
  • Facilitate the completion of approved project scope, goals, deliverables and define and measure change success metrics
  • Delegate projects across team while maintaining and delivering BMTX’s Change Management standard methodology, tools, and templates to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by policy and procedures. Integrate change management activities into overall project plan.
  • Partner with department leaders at BMTX to project out deliverables and milestones for current and future partnerships
  • Monitor and report to executive management on all related projects, statuses, risks and change requests on a regular basis
  • Manage project scope changes, deliverables and resolution of issues to achieve project goals on time and on budget
  • Coordinate and motivate project team members
  • Support training efforts, while building business knowledge within the PMO team to create an effective and knowledgeable team
  • Coordinate efforts with others (Change team, business leaders, Sponsors, as well as project team)

Qualifications

  • 10+ years’ experience in project management
  • Qualification in project management or equivalent
  • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management and change management
  • Proactive critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently and learn new technologies quickly
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Confidence in decision-making
  • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with leading teams, negotiation and issue management
  • Proven adaptability and stress tolerance
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
