BMTX is seeking a motivated and results-driven Bank Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day bank operation functions relating to transaction processing which includes ACH, Wire, Returns, Non-Posts, Transfers, FRB adjustments, Bank to Bank adjustments, Card and Escheatment processing. 



  • Responsible for onboarding new employees, employee development and training including providing support and regular reviews of productivity/performance as well as goal setting.
  • Build/maintain cohesive team.
  • Build/maintain appropriate backup for all functions within scope.
  • Manage team members to insure timely and accurate processing of daily operational tasks/deadlines.
  • Develop and implement new processes and procedures to improve operating efficiency.
  • Maintain/update procedures for processes within scope.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and stay informed of applicable regulatory changes
  • Develop reporting for management of operational functions, volume reporting and metrics for growth as needed
  • Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Lead escalations point for Banking Operations issues and report to management in a timely manner
  • Assist with all projects requiring banking operations support.

  • Ability to exercise oversight, knowledge and understanding of ACH, Wire, inclearing and outgoing transactional electronic and paper processes and policies in a complex financial operation.
  • Self-educator with the ability to apply knowledge obtained.
  • Intuitive thinker with the ability to think out of the box.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex information to identify the key issue/action and drive resolution.
  • Effectively communicate across all levels both written and verbally.
  • Experience and passion for creating process and collaborating with others.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment while being able to meet strict daily deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to acquire new skills efficiently, and to thrive in a collaborative team environment.


Required Experience/ Qualifications:


  • 7+ years Banking Operations experience including 2 years of management experience
  • Strong understanding of ACH payment components, inclusive of NACHA Rules and Guidelines.
  • Solid and strong working knowledge of banking regulations
  • Experience building and leading a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Moderate travel required
