Overview

An early pioneer in Banking as a Service (BaaS), BM Technologies is the platform behind some of the biggest names in fintech banking today. Over the years, we have worked with amazing clients like T-Mobile, Array, nearly eight hundred universities across the US, and many others to launch next-generation financial services that are redefining banking for millions of everyday Americans nationwide. As we scale our platform into the tens of millions of users, we are looking to bring on a Senior Product Manager to own product roadmap execution for one or more components of our BaaS platform and / or platform clients.

 

In this role, you will work with customers and internal stakeholders – business leaders, UX designers, engineers, ops experts, business analysts, implementation specialists and support personnel – to create, define and plan out product features and feature enhancements. This includes feature ideation, impact assessment / hypothesis, analysis & prioritization, partner management, and ensuring a smooth transition from development through implementation and operation/customer use of new features. In addition, the Senior Product Manager will at times support Sales and Implementation teams during their respective project lifecycle stages to maintain cohesiveness, transparency, expediency, and most of all, ensure that product delivery meets customer and company objectives.

 

The ideal candidate for this role has enterprise level experience on the technology/processor side and has worked with large scale tech/fintech companies to launch white label card products.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for strategic product roadmap execution for components of BaaS products
  • Develop results-based hypotheses in support of the product roadmap, document key performance indicators (KPI’s) to determine if hypotheses were achieved, and work with reporting to ensure results are measured post delivery
  • Transform customer requirements into clear, well-defined product features or feature enhancements with alignment to the ultimate customer objective(s)
  • Ensure that outcomes—both positive and negative—of new feature KPI’s are considered, learnings incorporated, and future hypotheses adjusted based on past results
  • Supports other teams in the development of project plan, risk mitigation, etc.
  • Manage risks and issues and plan / manage corrective measures.
  • Oversee story development and delivery
  • Escalates issues appropriately as needed for expedited resolution.
  • Execute significant change in a fast-paced agile environment

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of senior product management experience.
  • Strong experience leading ideation, innovation and product development
  • Proven track record of managing a roadmap and shipping on time
  • History of using data and customer research to guide your decision-making process
  • Experience in client facing consulting / professional services.
  • Experience in custom software product development, systems integration, and/or software implementation services.
  • Experience with matrix management of cross-functional processes and teams.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent professional communication skills, written and verbal, including expressing ideas clearly and logically to all levels within the organization; the ability to communication technical concepts to non-technical customers in a clear manner; and the ability to interact with senior and executive level management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, resolve conflicts, and mange problems
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and strategic partnerships with external and internal key stakeholders/customers across diverse groups.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast paced, high touch, client focused environment.
  • Experience with collaborative software such as Jira, Confluence, Salesforce, Microsoft Teams.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 + years of program management experience delivering multiple product implementations crossing multiple businesses.
  • Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries desired.
  • Ability to be agile; Comfortable lead change and continuous improvements
