BM Technologies is seeking a passionate fintech Product Manager with a focus on customer engagement. Out product managers take ownership of their feature areas to discover, elicit, analyze, synthesize, document, and communicate business requirements and success metrics in support of a Banking-as-a-Service product suite with a rapidly growing customer base.

Responsible for feature prioritization, scoping, planning, delivery, vendor management, success measurement, and validated learning. Develop and test hypotheses for engagement strategies that accomplish core business goals related to “primary bank” behavior, increasing products per customer, and engagement with existing products.


  • Excellent writing skills and a passion for crisp, clear, succinct communication.
  • Familiar with the differences in content strategies across different delivery channels and able to optimize engagement communications for each channel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and able to define and measure effectiveness of engagement campaigns, new customer communications, and changes to existing communications through validated learning.
  • Passion for data-driven analysis and continuous iteration and improvement.
  • Write customer-centric user stories and detailed functional specifications.
  • Comfortable interacting with executive management, business operations, business product management, compliance, and multiple technical teams to define and deliver complex features.
  • Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and understand high-level technical implementation details.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize decisions by assessing value of proposed feature vs. time-to-market trade-offs.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with internal and external stakeholders and able to pivot quickly when necessary.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment where requirements and priorities can change quickly.
  • Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration, and commitment to competing priorities.
  • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks and multiple levels.
  • Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders.

Day to Day:

  • Ensure BankMobile’s customer communications are on par with competitors and ensure market-specific differentiation where applicable.
  • Ensure business-alignment, quality, and efficiency by structuring customer communications to follow a customer-centric and channel-optimized approach across multiple products.
  • Ensure ongoing traceability from strategic goals to capabilities to technical components to validated business results.
  • Ensure the “right” customer communications are implemented via continuous improvement to the product with the ability to identify and execute new engagement opportunities.
  • Improve customer retention and engagement by guiding customers along the “path to primary” to make BankMobile their primary bank account.


  • Must have direct product management experience in fintech, marketing, or mobile apps and have a keen understanding of the commonalities and differences between web and mobile products.
  • Must have experience designing or implementing consumer-facing marketing communications.
  • Must be highly cross-functional across multiple disciplines including emerging product management practices, design-thinking, lean startup principles, business systems analysis, customer experience management, usability engineering, scrum project methods, and quality assurance.
  • Familiarity with emerging DevOps methods and tools such as: agile/scrum, continuous integration, automated configuration management, test-driven management, UI monitoring and measurement tools, etc.
  • Strong attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills and history of teamwork.

Nice To Have

  • Expertise in Excel for data analysis including visual representations.
  • Experience in building and executing SQL queries for analytical reporting.
  • Experience working in Azure, .NET, and DevOps Cloud development organizations.
  • Experience working in a highly regulated environment.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Analysis, Software Engineering, or related field.
