The engineer in this role will be responsible for building the next generation of user experiences of our FinTech platforms. They will develop front-end code and participate in the entire feature development lifecycle – from requirements gathering and research, prototyping, planning, executing, and defining the front-end development. They will work closely with our back-end engineers integrating with the business logic and data access layers. We are looking for someone with a strong desire to ship, receive feedback, and improve; someone that is not afraid to dive into unfamiliar concepts and that can engage in technical and code reviews. The ideal candidate will have outstanding communication skills, be eager to collaborate with others, and will excel at writing clean, maintainable, elegant code.


  • Help architect, design, develop, and evaluate new and updated feature functionality for our web-based applications applying best practices in user experience and accessibility
  • Work closely with our Product Team and Senior Leadership to identify opportunities to improve the user experience and product quality
  • Design, devise, deploy, and evaluate A/B and multivariate testing and associated analytics to improve KPIs
  • Ensure that our Dev stack remains modern and up to date, including the discovery, evaluation, and implementation of emerging technologies and toolsets. We have legacy code that we are actively migrating from and you will help lead in the selection of tools, technology, and direction.
  • Work with engineering resources to collaboratively generate implementation procedures, test plans, and similar documentation for internal and external stakeholders
  • Implement solutions that meet requirements while adhering to constraints related to compliance, regulatory concerns, as well as information security and risk mitigation
  • Advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS (including SASS), and JavaScript, responsive design, and accessibility best practices
  • Strong understanding of delivering component-based front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks – specifically with React
  • Experience working with A/B Testing tools (e.g. Adobe Target, Google Optimize, VWO), designing and implementing frequent incremental improvements for tests to optimize business results
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams co-located and working remotely providing frequent, clear status updates to business stakeholders
  • Technical and architectural understanding of large applications and infrastructure stacks
  • Familiarity with visual design and prototyping toolsets – e.g. InVision, Axure, Sketch, Adobe XD
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug code errors
