Overview

BMTX is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Relationship Manager to collaborate cross functionally internally and with our key external customers.  This role is integral to the organization, acting as liaison and bridging/facilitation communication and understanding between the business, IT, and our key customers. This role will also play a important role is the sales cycle for new white label prospects. They will work closely to ensure customers’ priorities for Service Levels, trending, competitive comparison, new or changed products and services for key customers and their employees/clients, in alignment with desired business outcomes, are effectively established and articulated. The Business RM will be responsible for ensuring conflicting stakeholder requirements are mediated appropriately and that stakeholders’ complaints and escalations are handled well through a balanced (yet formal) process.  This position will be responsible for tracking customer and technology trends that could impact customer perception and service provision.

Responsibilities

 

  • Successfully and effectively manage all components of the relationship with key customers.
  • As the client advocate and relationship owner, establish, develop, maintain and grow existing relationships between BMTX and its customers and customers and their clients.
  • Mitigate risks and drive opportunities, with respect to relationships and profitability.
  • Identify and assist with the elimination of barriers to the successful delivery of service levels, products, services, and financial growth.
  • Continuously work on improving communication and relationship management skills to ensure exceptional service to customers.
  • Committed to delivering memorable customer experiences, professional and confident with a developed business acumen.
  • Improve customer service experience, create engaged customers, and facilitate organic growth.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years’ experience in relationship management
  • 5+ years or equivalent experience in servicing banks and financial institutions, specifically with knowledge of banking solutions.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to articulate complex information in clear and simple language.
  • Comfortable working in a remote environment and demonstrate team/collaboration skills.
  • Possesses organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office 365 suite, Salesforce and LinkedIn.
  • Industry savvy, curious and stays current on industry news and events.
  • Demonstrated financial and technology acumen.
  • Excellence in personal effectiveness and credibility with management and partners
  • Excellence in flexible problem solving, analysis, and issue resolution.
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills deployed in an empathetically to exceed customer needs.
  • Identify potential win-win-win opportunities for customer, their clients and organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to use Data Analysis Tools to serve the customer
  • Sales And Marketing along with Business Development skills a plus
  • Establish realistic expectations to support development of mutual trust.
  • Monitor ongoing commitments to ensure fulfilment.
  • Communicate both good and bad news to avoid surprises.
