Overview

BankMobile, the largest and fastest growing digital bank in the U.S. is looking to add a senior Director in our marketing team to oversee the Marketing and branding efforts of BankMobile. This is a very important hire for our business as we continue to position BankMobile for future accelerated growth. As the Senior Director you will set the vision for and execute on a strategy that focuses on customer acquisition and retention to help us reach our profitability goals. You will also build out and lead a lean and highly productive marketing team to assist you in execution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a fully integrated marketing approach for all traditional and digital marketing strategy plan, which includes Branding, SEO, Organic marekting, PPC, Social media, Website, A/B Testing, &B2b, B2C, and modern B2B2C marketing tactics.
  • Create and execute a strategy to establish BankMobile as a recognizable B2C and B2B2C Brand. 
  • Establish tone and message for all BankMobile communications to clients, Partners, and users the portrays missions and values of the organization.
  • Provides strategy and support for bank-wide digital banking customer adoption initiatives.
  • Create strategic marketing direction that favorably promotes all services and products of BankMobile within budget and according to the Bank’s policies and procedures.
  • Aligns Bank’s brand to be consistent through each channel and employees. Directs customer and public communications to consistently promote the Bank’s brand message and community commitment.
  • Develop and recruit a highly efficient team of marketing professionals with the talent necessary to successfully execute on all digital marketing efforts
  • Develop and obtain all customer analytics, lead generation analytics (website analytics, social media analytics, SEO, email, channel), and competition analytics. Analyzes the data to make critical decisions.
  • Negotiates with partners to guarantee advantageous contracts.
  • Manage social media and content strategy according to compliance and brand expectations. Manage website content, strategy, and design.
  • Establish and monitors budgets. Analyzes and controls all costs associated with the Bank’s marketing campaigns. Identifies areas for potential cost reductions whenever possible.
  • Collaborate on Product Strategy and Development for banks partnerships
  • Create and develop reporting and analytics for monthly dashboard, KPI's and ROI models.
  • Provides coaching, guidance, leadership and expertise to staff. Creates development opportunities and ensures necessary training and tools are provided. Ensure timely and meaningful performance management is administered to all team members.
  • Utilizes CRM to create user journeys and use multichannel campaigns to build relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Marketing, Business Administration or related field required. Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience with strategic corporate planning with a consumer marketing background focused creating and establishing a brand for an end consumer
  • 5 years of progressive, large team people ideally in a startup or high-growth environment and Fintech, technology, Mobile or (digital) Banking space
  • Experience with product interplay in the marketing space with knowledge on how to design product to enhance marketing and vice versa
  • Strong background in marketing, specifically focused on B2B2C /white-label partnership
  • Demonstrable experience in developing efficient strategies and business plans for all marketing aspects (branding, product promotion etc.).
  • Ability to apply marketing techniques over digital (e.g. social media) and non-digital (e.g. press) channels.
  • Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to lead and drive collaboration among team members.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and familiar with marketing software applications.
  • Ability to manage relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully developing and implementing sales, data analytics and digital marketing strategies as they apply to the financial services industry.
  • Digital marketing certifications (e.g., Google Analytics& AdWords) preferred.
