Role Summary:

BankMobile, a division of Customers Bank, is looking for a passionate, hard-working individual to join our Compliance team as a Regulatory Compliance Manager. The Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for promoting a culture of compliance and the identification, escalation and timely mitigation of compliance risks by assisting the first line of defense in any compliance activities and related process that is not limited to the list below. This position has several direct reports, who are regulatory analysts.

To be successful in this role you should possess the following abilities:

• Advise and monitor for financial services activities regarding Company’s regulatory compliance requirements, including the USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Regulations E, D, DD, CC and other deposit related banking rules and regulations to ensure the organization complies with all pertinent state and federal laws.
• Maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to details while performing monitoring and testing functions.
• Create and maintain a regulatory inventory. Assist with updates to policies, work papers and desk procedures to ensure they reflect regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to compliance risk assessment and perform monitoring and testing to determine the effectiveness of the first line of defense processes and risk controls.
• Review and identify compliance training needs and third-party participation to ensure adequacy, and completion.
• Review the findings of the monitoring results with pertinent personnel and discuss recommendations for corrective action.
• May be involved in high-level client contact and exposure to sensitive information, and must use considerable tact, diplomacy and judgment
• Validate that commitments made regarding actions in response to Matters Requiring Attention ("MRAs") and other actions are completed for the first line. Escalate regulatory relations concerns to Director of Compliance or senior management.
• Performs diverse, advanced and confidential administrative support functions including composing, and updating routine governance correspondence.
• Candidate must have experience in reviewing business requirements and related documentation, to ensure that the systems that they depict will be compliant with applicable state and federal laws.
• Advanced administrative and analytical skills. Thorough knowledge of a variety of software programs.

Required Experience/ Qualifications:

•  Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 5 years of directly related work experience in banking regulatory compliance

• Compliance certification (CRCM or equivalent)

• Candidate must understand back office bank processing for all deposit products.
• Thorough knowledge of USA PATRIOT Act, Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC, Regulations E, D, DD, CC and other related deposit banking rules and regulations
• Successful experience in performing analysis of compliance practices and procedures
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Should be a self-starter and organized; able to work independently, without supervision; able to solve problems and offer solutions.
