  • Overview

    BankMobile has an opening for an associate Project Manager in our Client Operations team. The associate Project Manager will work directly with colleges and universities throughout the U.S to implement our products and services.  The role reports to the Senior Project Manager in the Client Operations team and is responsible for various coordinating tasks and achieving project milestones, along with administrative duties like maintaining project documentation.


    The ideal candidate is a self-motivator, has excellent time management and communication skills, and has a passion for tackling challenging and evolving projects. This person must have the ability to juggle multiple high intensity programs at the same time and react with urgency to changes or requests. This candidate must be highly organized and a stickler for the details. The role may require some travel and overtime hours, especially to complete project deadlines.     • Work directly with clients to implement our refund management service, adding additional services or making changes to existing services.
    • Learn all aspects of the BankMobile disbursements program regarding its functionality and associated technologies
    • Alongside the Senior Project Manager, responsible for project planning, scope, defining milestones and delivery dates, including internal and external status reporting
    • Assist in escalating project issues, managing expectations, and proposing creative solutions in order to achieve milestones
    • Maintain project documents, plans, and reports
    • Coordinate project management activities, resources, and information
    • Continually seek and capitalize on opportunities to increase productivity
    • Provide regular status updates


    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
    • Must be proactive, highly detailed, and organized
    • Effective teamwork, follow up, and professional/positive communication to all levels within and outside the organization
    • Self-discipline and determination to meet and exceed goals
    • Must exhibit flexibility and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    • Excellent verbal and written skills
    • Impeccable interpersonal skills, including communication, presentation, persuasion, and influence
    • Strong organizational skills, including efficiency, punctuality, and collaboration in a team environment
    • Ferocious attention to detail
    • Confidence to present and lead teams over the phone, via webinar, or in-person
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc) and Salesforce a plus
    • Banking experience a plus
