    BankMobile is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence and Analytics Analyst. The Business Intelligence and Analytics department controls the entire data ecosystem and is accountable for all data analysis, both quantitative and qualitative, across the entire enterprise. You will be responsible for working with our various technological systems to collect, analyze and report on business data. You will also have responsibility for creating reports, writing research papers and providing insights and recommendations to business decision-makers. This position will report to the Senior Vice President of Business Intelligence and Analytics and will work closely with every BankMobile department.

    Responsibilities

    • Use data to provide insights and recommendations to business decision-makers
    • Prepare and develop reports, presentations and other documents for communicating findings to business owners and management.
    • Partner with technical teams to implement data capture, ETL, validation, and test methods 
    • Recommend and apply methodologies and statistical techniques where appropriate to address business issues
    • Complete ad hoc analytical requests within agreed upon time
    • Work with business owners to understand information needs
    • Assist with multiple projects and adjust to rapidly changing priorities. Focus on, and be able to balance project timeliness, while maintaining overall quality across multiple projects and consultations
    • Maintain and assist in data model documentation, data dictionary, data flow, data mapping and other MDM and Data Governance documentation 
    • Capable of leading a project from start to finish

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 4 years’ experience with Reporting and Dashboarding projects and solutions
    • High proficiency in SQL (ANSI) with the ability to write complex freehand SQL including sub-queries, nested queries, and other advanced SQL features.
    • Thorough knowledge of physical database design and data structures
    • Solid understanding of statistics and analytics in a business environment
    • Basic knowledge of finance and marketing (preferred)
