    We are seeking a Banking Operations Specialist to join our growing team.  We’re reinventing banking by focusing on the unmet needs of millennial and underbanked consumers to provide frictionless and free banking with the full suite of financial products. We’re building a disruptive multi-partner distribution model, known as “Bank as a Service”, that places our innovative bank products in natural account opening moments as part of multiple startup banking brands. Our banking experience is built with a customer-centric digital-first model and requires industrial-strength financial technologies and innovation.

    Responsibilities

    Perform a wide variety of tasks related banking operations in accordance with company policy and procedures.   

    Duties:

     

    • Assist with processing paper and mobile deposits, verification of checks, placing delayed availability holds in compliance with Reg CC
    • Research and process FRB and bank to bank adjustments
    • Research and process chargebacks
    • Research and process exceptions, including non-post, stop payments
    • Assist with ACH balancing and returns
    • Ensure assigned workload is completed within all deadlines and SLA’s
    • Exercise discretion, strong interpersonal skills and independent judgment
    • Provide outstanding customer service to customers.  Includes responding to customer inquiries both internally and externally.
    • Work as a team player to ensure processing deadlines are met
    • Provide backup assistance to designated teammates as needed
    • Communicate all critical information to supervisor
    • Perform other duties as required

    Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Relevant Bachelor’s degree or minimum 5 years banking operations experience
    • AAP certified a plus
    • Solid understanding and strong working knowledge of banking regulations
    • Detail oriented and organized
    • Demonstrates analytical problem solving skills
    • Handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize assignments
    • Proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word
    • Proven propensity to learn new technologies quickly
    • Ability to provide stellar customer service to resolution
    • Has the ability to acquire new skills efficiently, and thrives in a collaborative team environment
    • Self motivated
    • Enjoys new challenges in a rapidly growing changing environment
