    Program Background

    We’re reinventing banking by focusing on the unmet needs of millennial and underbanked consumers to provide frictionless and free banking with the full suite of financial products. We’re building a disruptive multi-partner distribution model, known as “Bank as a Service”, that places our innovative bank products in natural account opening moments as part of multiple startup banking brands.     Position Accountability

    The Reporting Analyst / Engineer will work with the reporting product manager to design and develop metrics, reports, and analyses to drive key business decisions. They will provide a link between raw enterprise data and management, so data extraction, analysis and transformation are key job responsibilities. The reporting analyst will receive requests from all types of management stakeholders, both internal and external, so they must have strong task prioritization skills while working with the reporting product manager and PMO to follow change management processes. They will also create custom reports to properly present data using available tools like Excel and Power BI visualization.


    Expected Outcomes


    Using your skills and experience as a Report Analyst /Engineer, you will use them:

    • to gather requirements and make key decisions and conduct efforts that are traceable to and aligned with overarching business objectives.
    • to design, develop, test and implement reports and dashboards that utilize the underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s) / data mart(s).
    • produce and deliver reports as scheduled
    • act as a reporting SME and consultant to supported stakeholders as a part of the Reporting Team


    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and document report and dashboards features.
    • Define requirements based on user research and a deep understanding of business processes.
    • Organize and present ideas and information in a simple, concise, and unambiguous manner.
    • Facilitate dialogue across functional areas and management levels.
    • Be a subject matter expert in your area of accountability.
    • Translate stakeholders’ requirements into reporting and dashboard deliverables
    • Generate complex SQL queries and scripts to transform and aggregate data
    • Deliver production and ad hoc reports within agreed upon timeframe
    • Work with SME’s to research, validate and troubleshoot reports as needed
    • Function independently and manage multiple projects.
    • Translate technical information to non-technical audiences


    • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel (including pivot tables, visualizations)
    • Proficiency with MS SQL (experience with Azure Cosmos DB SQL Queries and Data Explorer a plus)
    • Proficiency with Power BI and DAX (with experience creating using Power BI visuals, and building dashboards and customizations and in designing Power BI data models and visualizations with logical and meaningful data flow)
    • Demonstrated understanding of cohort analysis (Sankey charts a plus)
    • 2+ years of experience in Reporting Analysis.
    • Experience with Banking and Banking Technologies
    • Experience working in a highly-regulated environment.
    • Ability and desire to work in start up environment
    • Experience with Agile/Scrum.
    • Superior written and verbal communication skills.
    • BS. in Computer Science, or related field
