    Role Summary:

    BankMobile is reinventing banking by focusing on the unmet needs of millennial and underbanked consumers to provide frictionless and free banking with the full suite of financial products. We’re building a disruptive multi-partner distribution model, known as “Bank as a Service”, that places our innovative bank products in natural account opening moments as part of multiple startup banking brands.

     

    We are looking for an IT Project Manager to support projects supporting BankMobile. The project manager will be responsible to drive various concurrent projects forward including but limited to FIS /banking conversions, technology transitions, customer care initiatives, and projects focused on technology migration to new systems and servers.

    Responsibilities

    To be successful in this role you should possess the following abilities:

    • Work with the Program and IT Managers to coordinate efforts for strategic initiatives
    • Work directly with the PMO to accomplish enterprise initiatives containing highly sensitive information
    • Facilitate the completion of project scope, goals and deliverables
    • Coordinate IT project meetings, tasks, and capture meeting notes
    • Plan and schedule project milestones and timelines
    • Act as the main point of contact for all assigned projects
    • Monitor and report on all related project risks and change requests on a weekly basis
    • Manage project scope changes, deliverables and resolution of issues to achieve project goals on time
    • Coordinate and motivate project team members
    • Provide direction and support to project teams

    Qualifications

    Required Experience/ Qualifications:

     

    • 3+ years’ experience in project management, with a focus on Banking or Finance
    • 1+ years’ experience working with banking core systems (FIS / Fiserv)
    • Qualification in project management or equivalent
    • Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
    • General Ledger implementation experience a plus
    • 3+  years’ experience in a PM role within IT Operations and Development projects
    • Proven experience in strategic planning, risk management, and change management
    • Proactive critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Self-starter with ability to work independently and learn new technologies quickly
    • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
    • Confidence in decision-making
    • Extremely detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
    • Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience with leading teams, negotiation and issue management
    • Proven adaptability and stress tolerance
    • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications (Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
