    Role Summary:

    BankMobile, the largest digital bank in the U.S. serving millennials is looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial leader to lead our Human Resources Department. The HRD will be responsible to build and sustain mission critical HR competencies and build a foundation for the cultures and values at BankMobile. This person should be a strategic, collaborative thinker, who is undaunted by ambiguity and rapid change. The best fit leader is an innovator who understands it’s not always about the way it has been done before, rather it is about what we believe we can do differently to build something that truly differentiates.

     

    BankMobile will need a seasoned leader who is able to build a solid foundation of HR fundamentals in areas such as global HR operations, payroll, benefits, compensation, and workforce planning. You will also act as a trusted advisor and consultant to executives and key organizational leaders, to help shape their organizations, help attract and develop the best talent, and bring thought leadership to our talent development team in the design and execution of our career acceleration and performance management strategy.

    Responsibilities

    To be successful in this role you should possess the following abilities:

    • Assess, refine and build Global HR operations and service delivery, including associate relations, payroll, benefits, compensation, workforce planning, and organizational design
    • Build and execute top-tier performance management and annual talent review processes
    • Design the organizational structure that supports the business and evolves as business needs change
    • Partner effectively with senior leadership team to ensure coordinated approach to human capital strategy
    • Build a team of “A Players” to design, develop, deploy, and deliver strategic initiatives
    • Optimize our performance management systems and processes
    • Provide the best employee benefits at an optimal cost to the organization
    • Provide overall leadership and guidance in leadership development, executive compensation, change management, and succession planning.
    • Build better connections between high performing, capable and respected teams who effectively interact with business leaders and employees and proactively bring ideas and solutions to support implementation of business strategy and results.

     

    Expected Outcomes:

    • Develop internal HR capabilities to continue to build, enhance and sustain the very best culture in the industry to ensure that BankMobile is a “Best Place to Work” across levels, geographies, and functions
    • Be a partner to the business to drive the human capital decisions and resources necessary to drive results.
    • Develop and drive BankMobile’s people strategy, aligning HR and business strategies to drive the execution of HR initiatives in support of company goals
    • Establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to the executive team as it relates to organizational, process, people related elements of the business; providing feedback to the executive team

    Qualifications

    Required Experience/ Qualifications:

    • MBA in Human Resources or relevant field highly preferred
    • 10+ years of prior Human Resources Practice and Technology exposure
    • HR certifications preferred (SPHR, SHRM-SCP)
    • Be the living representative of our core values and understand the value of a great culture
    • Will have built a successful HR organization from start – up through growth and maturity to an agile high performing team that thrives on constant change and can adapt Proven experience in developing policies that are employee centric and challenge the status quo
    • Successful track record of managing high volume recruitment
    • Experience globalizing best practices
    • Critical negotiation skills to provide the best overall benefits at the lowest cost
    • Experience creating succession plans from scratch, preferably for an executive team
    • Strong business acumen, facilitation, conflict resolution and communication skills
    • Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset
    • Passion to learn and willingness to teach
    • Experience in developing competencies up and down the organization
    • Self-awareness
    • Demonstrate a bias for action and delivering results
    • Must be willing to travel
