    Scrum Master

     

    Role Summary:

     

    This is a hands-on role that focuses on planning, creating and executing multiple BankMobile Technology capabilities, from ideation through product feature prioritization, to the development team agile processes and tools, to quality assurance and deployment best practices.  We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to guide, coach and motivate the team!

     

    To be successful in this role you should possess the following abilities:

    • Lead, track and report on one or more client engagements or agile releases through the BankMobile Technology agile delivery process, from sprint planning through sprint retrospectives.
    • Must personify Scrum and Agile.
    • Create, maintain and disseminate agile release plans, sprint commitments, sprint deliverables, and insights to stakeholders.
    • Define, provide and interpret agile metrics to effectively plan and track sprint commitments and delivery.
    • Contribute to and ensure the timely delivery of high quality team assets and work products, including but not limited to: product, project, and quality assurance documentation, customer-centric stories, inclusive of detailed functional specifications, UI mockups, and presentation standards.
    • Lead continuous improvement of agile teams through sprint retrospectives and other agile learning practices.
    • Provide agile coaching throughout the organization.

    Responsibilities

    Expected Outcomes:

    • Ensure various business outcomes, including differentiating capability development, continuous improvement, innovation management, and large client integration, are executed with a specialized yet repeatable approach for each outcome.
    • Work directly with the Product Owner and Development Team to ensure customer’s expectations are met.
    • Ensure business-alignment, quality, and efficiency by structuring BankMobile Technology capability development to follow a model-driven and capability-oriented approach. Ensure ongoing customer and business value is being delivered, from strategic goals to capabilities, to technical components to measured and validated business results.

    Qualifications

    Required Experience/ Qualifications:

    • Must have 2-4 years of experience with large, complex agile releases, projects and programs in large organizations with cross-portfolio interdependencies and resource demands.
    • Experience playing the Scrum Master role for a Scrum team.
    • Must have experience with agile management tools such as Microsoft’s Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS), Atlassian’s JIRA, Fog Creek Software’s Manuscript (formerly Fogbugz), or similar toolsets, including agile dashboards, metrics and reporting.
    • Proven ability to effectively communicate agile release health, metrics, issues and risks with customers and fellow agile project team members.
    • Experience with Agile techniques
    • Excellent communication and mentoring skills
    • CSM certification or comparable agile certification required; CAPM or PMP certification highly desired.
    • S. in MIS, Computer Science, or related field required; M.S. or MBA preferred.
