  • Overview

    BankMobile is looking for an account executive to join our sales team and cover the southern region.  The Sales Account Executive is responsible for building and growing a pipeline of prospective college and university clients in the deep south.


    This position is a remote position located in the south.  The role is a true hunter, Road Warrior role with long, complex sales cycles. 



    • Promote corporate and personal brand throughout territory
    • Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective customers
    • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential customers to meet their needs
    • Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
    • Reach out to customer leads through cold calling, emails, onsite visits and conference attendance
    • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
    • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
    • Supply management with reports on prospect needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
    • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
    • Continuously improve through feedback 
    • Territory includes: Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, Kansas and Nebraska though territory is subject to change as needed
    • Analyze the territory market’s potential, track sales and status reports through Salesforce CRM

    Expected Outcomes:

    • Sales Account Executive will meet the sales goals identified by senior management
    • Build a pipeline of prospective clients to support the sales efforts over the next 24-36 months, recognizing the long sales cycle
    • Create partnerships with key associations that will help drive positive brand and personal recognition


    • Proven work experience as a sales representative in higher education
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
    • Familiarity with Salesforce along with ability to build productive business professional relationships
    • Experience driving RFP’s and negotiating contracts
    • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships and excel in a cross-functional environment
    • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
    • Excellent selling, verbal and written communication skills
    • Prioritizing, time management and organizational skills
    • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
    • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
    • BS/BA degree or equivalent
    • 60% travel (road warrior)
