Overview

BM Technologies, Inc. (“BMTX” or the “Company”) is seeking an experienced and ambitious Business Development Manager to join the BMTX team! Our ideal candidate will be able to implement an effective sales and business development approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and ultimately meets the goals set forth by the organization. They will also actively seek out other business opportunities that can boost revenue and set our company apart.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and oversee a business and growth strategy that prioritizes financial gain, and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions and identify new market opportunities, including inbound and outbound leads.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Develop an understanding of BMTX’s products in the BaaS and Higher Education (HE) space.
  • Promote the company’s products and services while addressing and predicting clients’ objectives, ideally in the BaaS and HE space.
  • Provide top notch customer service and after-sales support.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers and maintain positive professional relationships with clients. While also collaborating with industry professionals, competitors, vendors, and other key stakeholders.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales, or relevant field.
  • Experience in the Higher Education (HE), FinTech, and/or Finance industries preferred
  • Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive, or a relevant role.
  • Proven sales and/or successful partnerships track record.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Market knowledge.
  • Ability to build rapport.
  • Time management and planning skills.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience as a proactive, self-starter.
  • Ability to gain credibility, engender trust, and influence across all levels of the organization.
  • Exceptional project management skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sharp negotiation and networking skills.
  • Technical skills required to create proposals and find solutions to meet client requirements.
