Reporting to Sr. Director of Marketing, you will have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in defining and executing our customer engagement strategy. This role is in service to increasing our active customers and customer lifetime value. You will oversee all lifecycle, engagement, and retention channels such as email and SMS. We are looking for a senior data driven digital marketer with experience leading customer engagement and retention. The ideal candidate is strategic, data driven and can execute. This role will work cross functionally with the following groups:  marketing, creative, UX, product, technology, analytics, compliance, and customer care.


  • Develop, lead, and execute the customer lifecycle and engagement marketing strategy, in service to increasing customer lifetime value.
  • Responsible for the customer onboarding experience including email and web all the way through customer engagement and retention.
  • Lead email channel end to end, from design, segmentation, execution, and testing of email campaigns.
  • Leverage data and customer insights to identify segments with our customer base and develop personalized communication using multi channels including email, web, SMS, etc.
  • Create, lead, and execute a customer engagement and usage program.
  • Partner with the product and technology team to execute A/B testing of landing pages.
  • Work “Close to the Customer” in understanding customer’s key needs, pain points by strategizing and executing customer surveys.
  • Partner closely with analytics team to upgrade our reporting framework to deepen our understand of our customer and better track business KPI performance.


  • 7-10 years of experience in digital marketing with focus on customer lifecycle, engagement and email marketing.
  • Experience designing customer engagement and retention strategies, leveraging email, SMS, push notifications, direct mail, social media, etc.
  • Strong experience with customer f.
  • A seasoned marketer that is comfortable marrying content strategy with data-driven programs.
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Adobe Site Catalyst.
  • Experience in SMS communication a plus.
  • Ability to work autonomously, be a “self-starter”, solve complex problems, and overcome obstacles.
  • Previous experience in software, SAAS, or Fintech is ideal
